Bobby Lashley -vs- Jason Guida highlights

Bobby Lashley finished Jason Guida by unanimous decision, but judging from these highlights, comparisons between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar are a little premature

Affliction going head to head with UFC 100?

Via The Baltimore Sun

There are a few puzzling stories in the news lately. The first is the rumor that Affliction may try to go head to head with UFC 100. I don’t know how I feel about this. Check that — it’s clearly a stupid decision.

While Affliction can compete with UFC pay-per-view replays and free, dumbed-down cards on Spike, Affliction cannot compete with UFC 100. I understand the UFC’s move to counter-program against Affliction, but it makes absolutely no sense the other way around.

Surely they can’t be dumb enough to go against one of the most stacked and anticipated PPV cards ever, Right?

Steroids: Ken Shamrock suspended

Via The Examiner

“The World’s Most Dangerous Man” may have landed a heavier blow to his own career than he did to Ross “Grizzly” Clifton in their fight last month. Yesterday, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) announced that Shamrock had failed a drug test administered prior to his February 13th bout with Clifton and has suspended him for one full year.

This sets up a match that I have really been looking forward to. Rampage -vs- Rashad Evans at UFC 98 should be a battle thats well worth the price of a PPV on its own.

UFC 96: Rampage Jackson – Keith Jardine weigh in

Whats up with the Lucky Charms underwear?

Flex Magazine lists the top 10 hardest hitters in the UFC

This is their list:

10 – Houston Alexander
9  - Anthony Johnson
8  - Shane Carwin
7  - Rashad Evans
6  - Thiago Alves
5  - Brock Lesnar
4  - Chuck Liddell
3  - Quentin “Rampage” Jackson
2  - Wanderlei Silva
1  - Anderson Silva

I can’t argue with Anderson Silva at #1, but I’m a little surprised that Brock Lesnar and Rampage Jackson aren’t sitting right there at #2 and #3 because both of those guys hit like they have 50 pounds of cement in each hand.

Thoughts on the list?

UFC 96: Quentin "Rampage" Jackson -vs- Keith Jardine preview

Jardine has had a few high profile wins in his career, but I fully expect Rampage to dismante Jardine in this bout and ground and pound him into submission by the end of the first round.
