Nate Marquardt stops a clearly gassed Wilson Gouveia midway through the 3rd round with a hellacious knee followed by a flurry of punches. This was an entertaining fight despite the fact that Marquardt was in control the entire time. Winner Nate Marquardt

Barely two minutes into the first round, Demian Maia subbmits Chael Sonnen with a beautiful triangle choke. Maia remains undefeated at 5-0 (all by submission) and is shaping up to become a force in the UFC. Winner: Demian Maia
Out of nowhere Paulo Thiago catches Josh Koscheck with a stiff right hand and gets the first round TKO. This was a fight that never went to the ground and was clearly being dominated by Koscheck up to that point. Win: Thiago
