| McCray started his martial arts training at a young age, getting involved with BJJ and MMA around 2006. He considers both of these to be what are responsible for bringing him as far as he is now. He has been ranked number one for the Middleweight UWC or the Ultimate Warrior Challenge. Some of his amateur fighting accomplishments include being the Operation Octagon World Champion and the Battle FC World Champion. Before the UFC he was in the U.S Army Reserves and has an amazing amateur record of 10-0-0. |
