| With most of his training in karate, Machida’s skills have ultimately led him to the UFC. He is a UFC light heavyweight Champion as well as a blackbelt in a special type of karate known as Shotokan and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has won the Brazilian Karate Championship twice and continues to excel in numerous forms of martial arts. His ultimate goal is to reach the top of the UFC and become the absolute best fighter he can. |
