| Experienced in the martial art of Muay Thai, Rua has worked hard to earn a place in the UFC. From the time he was 16 in 1997, he has been training in a number of martial arts and fighting styles. He has the 2005 PRIDE GRAND PRIX title, which he considers to be the most important one of his career thus far. He idolizes and looks up to his older brother, who trained at the Chute Box Academy and is also a skilled fighter. |
